HTC Desire and Desire 12+ launched in India and price starts at Rs. 15,800
HTC has launched Desire 12 and Desire 12+ smartphones in India on Wednesday. These were announced back in March. The Desire 12 smartphone has a 5.5-inch HD+ display and the big brother Desire 12+ comes with 6-inch HD+ display, both smartphones comes with 18:9 aspect ratio display. No details about the display protection.

The HTC desire 12 is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739 (64-bit) processor with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU, while the Desire 12+ comes with 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. Both the HTC smartphones with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, you can expand memory up to 2TB with microSD card. The Desire 12 smartphone runs on Android 7 Nougat OS and the big brother Desire 12+ runs on Android 8 Oreo.

The Desire 12 has a single rear camera setup, but the Desire 12+ smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup. In terms of specs, the Desire 12+ includes a primary sensor of 13MP with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, BSI sensor, LED flash and a secondary sensor of 2MP. The HTC Desire 12 comes with a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, BSI sensor and LED flash. In terms of front-facing camera, the HTC Desire 12 has a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture, while the Desire 12+ comes with a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The HTC Desire 12+ has a fingerprint sensor on the back, but the small brother Desire 12 comes without a fingerprint sensor. Both smartphones have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. The Desire 12+ is backed by a 2965mAh battery, while the Desire 12 comes with a 2730mAh battery. Both HTC smartphones doesn't support fast charging.
HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ come in Cool Black and Warm Silver colors.
The HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ are priced at Rs. 15,800 and Rs. 19,790 in India. These two smartphones are now available for pre-order through HTC eStore, will be available through online and offline from June 11th.
