Honor 8X with Kirin 710 SoC, Dual rear camera setup launched in China

  Huawei’s Honor brand has launched the Honor 8X in China, this is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone. The Honor 8X packs a 6.5-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19.5:9 2.5D curved glass display. This smartphone comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots.

  The Honor 8X is powered by the Octa-Core Kirin 710 12nm (4 x 2.2GHz Cortex-A73 +4 x 1.7GHz Cortex-A53) with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage, you can expand storage up to 400GB with microSD via dedicated microSD card slot. It runs on Android 8 Oreo with EMUI 8.2.

  The Honor 8X smartphone comes with 4D gaming experience with real-time recognition of the game scene that vibrates the phone to intelligent match up to 30 different senses promising more realistic game scene experience.

  The Honor 8X comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 20MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, and it has 2MP secondary camera and LED flash. The rear camera comes with AI scene recognition that can identify up to 500 scenes. It has a single 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front-facing camera can support 4-in-1 pixel binning technology and AI beautify It can support face unlock.

  The Honor 8X has a fingerprint sensor on the back. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm Audio jack. It packs a 3750mAh battery and it can support fast charging.

  The Honor 8X is priced at 1399 yuan (US$ 204 / Rs. 14,695 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1599 yuan (US$ 234 / Rs. 16,795 approx.) and the top-end 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 1899 yuan (US$ 278 / Rs. 19,950 approx.) in China. It is available for pre-order and goes on sale from September 11th.
