Oppo Reno Z with Dual rear camera setup, MediaTek Helio P90 SoC, 4035mAh battery launched
Oppo has launched the Oppo Reno Z smartphone in China. The Reno Z is a mid-range smartphone. It comes without a pop-up front-facing camera, unlike Reno series smartphones. It has a 6.4-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED HDR display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and it has a waterdrop notch. It supports dual sim.
The Oppo Reno Z is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P90 12nm processor (Dual 2.2GHz Cortex-A75 + Hexa 2GHz Cortex-A75 CPUs) with IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU. It packs 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB storage / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB storage. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0.
The Reno Z comes with a dual rear camera setup, it has a 48MP primary rear camera with 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8um pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, CAF, and a 5MP secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. It has a 32MP front-facing camera. It supports face unlock.
The Oppo Reno Z features a In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It features Hi-Res audio and supports Dolby Atmos. It houses a 4035mAh battery and supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It comes in Purple, Jet Black, White and new Coral Orange colors,
The Oppo Reno Z is priced at 2499 yuan (US$ 261 / Rs. 25,270 approx.) for 6GB RAM with 256GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB storage versions in China. Now it is available for pre-order and goes on sale in China from June 6th.
Oppo also launched the new Coral Orange and Inspirational or Creative Edition of the Reno smartphone with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage at 3299 (US$ 477 / Rs. 33,390 approx.) in China.
