New Google Chromecast price and specifications

  Google has launched the new Google Chromecast with Google TV. The Google TV interface combines movies, shows, live TV and more from across your apps and subscriptions and organizes them just for you. The new Chromecast supports up to 4K HDR at 60fps. It plugs into your TV’s HDMI port, powers up using USB Type-C port and it also supports HDMI pass-through of Dolby audio content.

  The Google Chromecast also comes with new Bluetooth remote, it has got dedicated Google Assistant, Netflix and YouTube button. There are programmable TV controls for power, volume and input. Stadia support is coming in the first half of 2021, said Google.

  Google added Watchlist feature in Google TV’s, it lets you bookmark movies and shows you want to save for later. You can easily add to your Watchlist from your phone or laptop, and it will be waiting on your TV when you get home.

  The new Chromecast with Google TV is priced at $49.99 (Rs. 3,675 approx.) in US and will be available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom, starting from October 15th with pre-orders starting from today. however, there is no details about the India launch yet.
